Marketing & Communications Associate

Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Communications Associate to help execute our marketing and communications strategies. Duties and responsibilities broadly support the marketing team with a wide variety of tasks, including social media engagement, media relations, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, digital marketing, and analysis. The Associate will be a key position in our organization and part of a dynamic team of marketing leadership in a positive, energetic, and communal environment.

Responsibilities

Guest Engagement
• Listen to our social media audiences, engaging with guests as directed
• Listen to and engage with guests on online review sites as directed
• Coordinate and execute CRG charitable donations using new online portal system
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to guest engagement
Social Media
• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
• Coordinate CRG social media presence via Facebook, email marketing, Twitter, Blogs, etc. as directed by management
• Organize and maintain an editorial calendar, with posts drafted and scheduled for future publication. Coordinate with various teams and departments to ensure social media activities help to support business initiatives
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
• Monitor and track performance of posts, prepare reports, perform analysis (including preparing and documenting actionable insights) and share data as directed
• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to social media
Website
• Assist with coordination of updates & improvements on the company websites
• Make weekly updates to CRG websites to include press mentions, nightly specials, monthly features, upcoming events and music dates
Marketing
• Become resident expert on email marketing campaign and create best practices using a/b testing, data, and performance results
• Assist and launch email marketing campaigns
• Gather and analyze data.
• Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
• Assist with organizing promotional events
• Assist Director of Marketing with print needs including but not limited to business cards, in-house collateral, manuals, stationery, etc.
• Manage marketing calendars/schedules and message development of internal and external communications related to specific business units/products/services
• Develop concepts, including copy and content, for use in various internal and external marketing materials – brochures, mailers, email campaigns, catalogs, newsletters, websites, advertising, press releases and articles for industry publications.
Media Relations
• Assist with coordination of media outreach & coverage with media releases
Corporate Communications
• Develop & update general and program brochures, media kits, key messages, fact sheets, & other collateral material as needed
• Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications
• Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals
• Assist Director of Communications with employment advertising
Miscellaneous
• Coordinate photography of people, food, drink, locations, events, etc. for use in publications, media, etc.
• Create, catalog & maintain photo library
• Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department runs smoothly
• Other duties as assigned
