Home Health Human Resource Generalist

We are in search of an HR Generalist who will be responsible for the administration, compliance, and maintenance of all HR policies, processes and programs to assist in the attraction and retention of our employees.


The chosen individual will have overall responsibility for the following:

  • Facilitating new employee orientation
  • Participate in candidate interviewing, on-boarding and off-boarding, as appropriate
  • Implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Provide policy guidance and interpretation to supervisors and employees
  • Stay current on all relevant local and federal laws and regulations in order to manage risk and maintain compliance
  • Respond to unemployment claims and employment verification
  • Assist in conducting salary analysis; counsel supervisors on merit/promotion increases
  • Support employee relations issues (as appropriate)

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Able to effectively communicate with employees and the management team
  • Proven track record of performance, customer satisfaction, and team work
  • HRIS and Performance Management systems experience
  • SHRM-CP, PHR or CBP certification preferred
